SECURITY MEASURES

Due to heightened security measures at the meeting venues, attendees MUST BE PREPARED to show valid/current photo I.D. to be admitted to the breakfast. When sending in checks, attendees MUST ALSO list full legal name as it appears on I.D. (as well as for all guests paid for) on your check. Otherwise, you WILL BE DENIED entry. If attendees wish to use a performing or professional name on their name tag (instead of their legal name), this must be indicated as well when sending in checks or paying online. YOU MUST ALSO PROVIDE A CONTACT PHONE NUMBER, otherwise, you accept full responsibility for our inability to notify you in case of: a change in venue; postponement or cancelation of the event; local/national emergency; any other unforeseen contingency/emergency.

ON-TIME RESERVATIONS:

ONLINE: You must complete the on-line reservation form and submit along with your payment to guarantee your reservation. If payment is not received at the time the reservation form is submitted, you will NOT be included on the reservations list. The final reservations list compromises of pre-paid attendees only. MAIL-IN: NOTE: We are UNABLE to receive Express Mail, Certified Mail, or Registered Mail or any mail that requires us to stand in postal lines. Mail-in payments are by check or money order only. Payments must be postmarked, at least, one week prior to the event to be an on-time reservation. Make checks/money orders payable to: Changing Images In America, P.O. Box 2688, Hollywood, CA 90078.

YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION: For our attendance list and for security purposes, you MUST include a business card and/or list your profession, phone number and other contact info, also the LEGAL NAME (as it appears on state issued I.D.), FOR YOU AND ALL GUESTS who are paid for on your check. (If you do not provide us with a telephone contact number, we will not be responsible for any inconvenience you experience if we are unable to reach you in an emergency.)

THIRD PARTY OR OUT OF STATE CHECKS: WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM FIRST TIME ATTENDEES.

COMPANY CHECKS: If you are sending us a company check, please indicate for whom the reservation is to be made. If your check has more than one name printed on the check, please indicate for whom the reservation is to be made. In effect, always tell us in whose name the reservation is to be made when you send in your check, including any “stage names” that you or your guests use.

BOUNCED OR RETURNED CHECKS:
When you bounce a check, we not only incur bank charges we have to pay for your breakfast. There will be a $25 charge for all bounced or returned checks. If we receive a bounced or returned check from you for the Breakfast, or if we make a good faith pre-confirmed late reservation for you, and you do not honor it or make good on it, you will be placed on our “DO NOT ADMIT BLACK LIST” and will be required to pay ALL MONIES DUE (including bank charges), before you are allowed back into the breakfast.

CONFIRMED RESERVATIONS:

WE DO NOT MAIL TICKETS, EMAIL OR CALL YOU TO CONFIRM RECEIPT OF YOUR CHECK. YOUR CASHED CHECK IS YOUR CONFIRMATION. HOWEVER, IF YOUR CHECK DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN CASHED BY THE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT, CALL TO SEE IF IT HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND/OR DEPOSITED. Most likely you are included on the reservations list and in the attendance count (even if the transaction does not appear on your account at the time). So if in doubt, CALL to confirm that you are on the attendee list. NO-SHOWS CANNOT BE ROLLED-OVER. Paid reservations are non-refundable but are transferable to someone else on the date paid for only.

NOTE: If you sent in a check for an on-time or pre-confirmed late reservation that has not been received by end of day on the day before the event, you can attend the breakfast as a walk-in. Since we do not have control over the postal service, if we do receive your check after the event, we will refund the appropriate difference depending on the postmark date. We can only include the actual number of paid reservations we have in hand on the day before the event, on the final reservations list.

LATE RESERVATIONS BY MAIL: If you mail your check any time after the postmark deadline, it will be considered a "late" reservation, so your check should reflect the additional $5 charged for late reservations, making the check total $45. If your check is late and is made for only $40, you will be charged the additional $5 late fee when you arrive. We will not be responsible if you mail your check after the postmark deadline and we do not receive it in time to include you on our reservations list. (See information below on “pre-confirmed late reservations by phone.")

PRE-CONFIRMED LATE RESERVATIONS LIST: As a courtesy to people who wish to attend the breakfast but for whom it is too late to mail a check, even a late check, we have a good faith Pre-confirmed Late Reservations List.

ONLINE Pre-confirmed late reservation: You can make the reservation online anytime after 5PM on the posted postmark deadline and before 3PM on the day before the breakfast. The price for pre-confirmed late reservations is $45 per person.

PHONE Pre-confirmed late reservation: You can make the reservation via phone anytime after 5PM on the posted postmark deadline and before 3PM on the day before the breakfast. You must talk to someone in the office (323-465-9800) to make arrangements to be put on that list, as there are guidelines. NOTE: Pre-confirmed late reservations extend the final count and are included in the final extended count given to the venue and therefore, are considered firm commitments by you. Price for all phone pre-confirmed late reservations is $45.00, cash only.

Word of Advice: Please do not make a phone pre-confirmed late reservation for someone for whom you will not be paying. If you will not be financially responsible for payment have the person(s) call in themselves.

WALK-INS:

If you attend a Hollywood Networking Breakfast™ without a reservation or a pre-confirmed late reservation (see above), you will be considered a walk-in and the price will be $50 - cash only.

LATE ARRIVALS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Breakfast is not guaranteed for late arrivals.

Whether you have an “on-time” or “pre-confirmed late” reservation, or you are a “walk-in”, if you arrive late at the breakfast, we cannot guarantee that there will be food available for you. Breakfast is served open buffet-style, where attendees may have more than one helping. Our venue replenishes our food supply, where necessary, up until 9 a.m. More than likely there will be food available after 9 a.m., but we can offer no guarantee.

If you are a late “walk-in” and you do not have an opportunity to eat, but still wish to hear the speaker, or stay to network, full walk-in rates will apply.

REFUNDS:

Our venue does not have a refund or roll-over policy for “no shows” for this event. Therefore, “no-shows” cannot be rolled-over to another breakfast and reservations are not refundable. When we make a commitment to the venue, we make it based on your commitment to us.


ATTIRE: BUSINESS CASUAL ATTIRE REQUIRED. DRESS CODE STRICTLY ENFORCED!

PLEASE, NO JEANS OR T-SHIRTS, SWEATS, OR INAPPROPRIATE, PROVOCATIVE CLOTHES.
If dressed inappropriately, YOU WILL BE REFUSED entry and no monies will be refunded. We provide a professional setting for you to learn, network, make contacts, promote yourself to our guest speakers and other attendees alike and assist you in getting to the next level in your career pursuits. This is not a jeans and t-shirt event.

In an effort to help you get your reservations in on time, if you are on our e-mail list, we will be sending you an e-mail of the current month’s breakfast information, and two reminder e-mails, to give you ample notice and time to meet the postmarked deadline.

GUEST SPEAKERS:

Guest Speakers’ attendance is confirmed, schedule permitting. In the event our guest speaker is unable to attend, we reserve the right to provide a substitute speaker or initiate a different format (which might not include a substitute speaker) for that day/event. In any such situation, since our venue will still require full payment, our “no refund” and “no roll-over” policy for all reservations shall apply.
