HISTORY

Sandra greets a guest.
The Hollywood Networking Breakfast® (aka: The Hollywood Breakfast®), is a fun, very popular monthly event, which has proven to be an exceptional and crucial networking vehicle for entertainment industry professionals and aspirants. The event attracts multicultural creative and production talent from the film, television and music industries.

The first monthly networking studio event of its kind, the Breakfast has proudly served as the blueprint for all other subsequent similar industry events. We are proud to announce that the Hollywood Networking Breakfast® has been named The Best Networking Event in L.A. by Backstage West, in its July 20, 2006 “Best in L.A.” issue.

The Breakfast has provided attendees with access to some of Hollywood's most powerful players and has facilitated numerous collaborations and employment opportunities.

Breakfast Attendees
The breakfast averages between 100 and 250 people every month, depending on the speaker, and usually attracts a diverse group of writers, producers, directors, development/production execs, agents, managers, casting directors, entertainment attorneys, financiers, actors and others at various levels of experience and achievement. Our attendees have come from the studios, network television, independent production companies, WGA, SAG, Women In Film, IFPWest, Nosotros, and Cape.

This innovative program is the brainchild of manager/writer/producer, and Changing Images In America founder, Sandra Lord, who created the event in 1993 on the Paramount Studios lot. Ms. Lord initially introduced and produced the event under the auspices of Women in Film, but now produces the event in Los Angeles to benefit Changing Images in America (Chia). Lord produces the event outside Los Angeles through her Hollywood Global Entertainment Network (HGEN).

For over 12 years, the Hollywood Networking Breakfast has featured an impressive list of top Hollywood players and professionals. Past speakers include Academy Award®, Emmy Award®, Golden Globe, Directors Guild and Peabody Award winning producers, directors, writers, and others such as: Mike Medavoy, Garry Marshall, Laura Ziskin, Tom Ortenberg, Lynda Obst, Dayna Kalins Bochco, David E. Kelley, Wes Craven, Marta Kauffman, Chris Moore, Thomas Carter, Reuben Cannon, Melissa Gilbert, Henry Winkler, Kevin Hooks, Marty Katz, Moctezuma Esparza, Paris Barclay, Thomas Schlamme, Jeremy Zimmer, George Tillman & Bob Teitel, Tom Arnold, Michael Grillo, Bo Zenga, Roy Campanella II, and many others. Guest speakers have such a great time, that some have spoken more than once! (see Past Speakers)
